Thanks so much for the advice. I called the Time/Life Building to try and find the magazine. They checked "48"-"50" with no luck for the one that has him featured. I wish I knew the exact date of when he was featured and I'd get a new one! I welcome any information from anyone on how my Grandfather helped people during this fire or anytime. I know he did a lot of good for a lot of people. I just love personal stories. The articles I spent hours reading on this site yesterday had me crying my eye's out. It's very painful to me that children and so many of them suffered like this. It's just horrendous that people were aware of the fire traps and did nothing to make the building safer, whether it was the law or not. No one should wait for a law to think & act on keeping people safe or safer.
