i was a big fan of the fire department i had 2 uncles on the j ob x 3 cousings. i my self liked the fire insurence patrol.i was in 2nd year of high school at de la salle h. s. when that terrible day happend,i remmeber it changed everything about school fire drills ,building codes etc.i heard all the stories,and books i still think the boys who were smoking down stairs heard someone coming,they tossedcigs in garbage boxs,returned to their rooms,never said anything,scared sat their with the rest and were killed,thats why they never really found who started it,will never know.
