About me: |
I remember hearing about the fire from a New York City radio station. The continued reports were spell binding. I went on the job in 1964 and have always urged people to read about these large scale disasters and read about the underlying messages of decision making that is always prevalent. Faced with conditions such as the OLA fire, what decisions did those first responders face and do you think they will ever come to grips with the choices they made----no matter what you have to do, or what decisions you make, you always do the best with the stuff you have with you.It is the nature of the work we have to do.
