| About me: | I grew up in the Chicago area to become an education reporter and the author of 16 books for kids. Over the years I've told brief versions of OLA's story in magazine and newspaper articles aimed at informing educators and school board members about fire safety. Now I'd like to tell OLA's story in a kids' book that I hope would help readers understand the importance of fire safety. |
