About me: Linda, hope you guys are all well. My heart goes out to all of you and I've been drawn to your sight. I'm writing a book, regarding how to create, build, lead and sustain championship level teams. ( I used to coach college basketball)The book is centered at St.Gertrudes Grammar School in Chicago. It will be about a special nun. a hoop coach,etc... While looking up more info on the BVM's I stumbled into your sight. It has been dominating my thoughs since last Friday. I ordered the book on To sleep with angels and finished last night. Once again, I'm praying for all of you, your families, your parents, etc... I'm so sorry you lost your brother in rm 212. Sr Mary Clare Therese Champagne will play a very beautiful and heroic figure that will influence my nun toward her calling toward educating and leading all types of children. She will stress the importance of making education come alive, vibrant, fun, eclectic. We will use the easel, art, music etc.. I hope this is all right with you. I've been so powerfully drawn to chicago. I don't know why, I'm from NY. Yet, I have a feeling someone is trying to tell me something. The main theme behind my book will be the principles of ALLIED EFFORT. That is an acronym, but the bottom line is this, We need each other. We need people to help us get back on the right path, if we've been knocked off. According to the book I read last night, the fact that you guys are getting together, sharing things, hopefully putting closure to some things, further solidifies the need for ALLIED Effort. As I said, my heart goes out to you guys. My wife and I are flying to Chicago for Tuesday and Wednesday. I have so much to do there but two new stops for me, now include a trip to see Our Lady of Angels and the cemetary. I promise you, I will say a prayer for your brother. My deepest condolences.
