i was 9 and in the 4th grade in massachusetts never forgot the fire especially the part of children being at their desksactually dying..i was afraid to go to school for awhile after that ,,my friend lost one of his sons in the rhode island night club fire and that is how i came upon the ola fire after all these years...read the book and the internet and feel so bad for all those kids ...feel like i know them especially the 4th graders for they were born all around my birthday ,,,going to buy micheles book next for a different read ,,,cant believe the kid got away with it either ...
