James Moravec was my uncle. My mother was James' sister, Linda Marie. Linda was also present at this fire but is not credited on this website. They grade she was in is unknown. Linda married Robert Ehlert and lived in the small town of Tigerton, WI for over 30 years until she passed away from colon cancer in 2007.
I am a student at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and have always wondered about this story. My uncle Chester Lasko and my mother talked about it, but this tragic event tarnished the rest of her life.
