Perhaps one of the most moving photos I have seen in my life is the one of that young nurse kneeling with her hands folded praying with the other people for the victims of that tragic school fire. Does anyone have any clue who she is, how her life progressed, and where she is today.
When this fire occurred I was a second grader at Our Lady of Victory School here in Minneapolis. Five plus decades later do I still recall this tragedy as if it happened yesterday. The event was a big topic of conversation in our classroom, as well as the other classrooms, and schools nationwide, and among world leaders.
