About me:	I was born 11-11-58. I grew up in the Our Lady of the Snows parish on the Southwest side of Chicago in what is now called Garfield Ridge. I knew about the fire as a first grader at OLS in the mid 60s and for a few years after first grade when we remembered in school those that had died and were horribly hurt. Throughout my life journey beginning in Chicago, then to Urbana, Il and in my professional life in St. Louis, I have never forgotten. I am now back in Urbana and am so glad to have found this site.
