i was 6yrs. old at time of fire, living in connecticut. i remember seeing the front page photo of a burnt out building, the caption underneath photo told of children jumping to their deaths. i couldn't help but to feel sad because these kids would not be around for christmas. my mother took the paper away from me and hid it.the years went bye and i forgot all about it. then i don't know why i thought about that photo. i went on the web and researched everything i could about that day. now i know why my mom hid that paper. now a day does not go by that i think about those poor children and the magnitude of such a tragedy. i also read to sleep with the angels.
