My name is Tom Griffin, I graduated from OLA in 1957. I was a freshman at St Phillips HS and was going back to OLA on 1 DEC 58 to visit my friends. I got there about 1530 just after the police and fire got there and set up the barricades. I was there late into the evening. I lost many of my friends and attended oh so many funerals many multiple children at one viewing. I have buried this painful time somewhere back in my memory but I a writing an autobiography in line with a very large genealogy project I am doing and just happen to be at that point in my life. That is where I learned of this site and some others. Happy to see the memory is still alive!
