I was 13 at the time and along with another boy were taken with reporters to the TV stations midway through the fire to be onthe news with Fahey Flynn and John (someting) newscasters who questioned us on how we thought it started. My paretns searched for me until 9 at nite house to house and the news people could not reach them becasue they were out looking for me and went home thinking i was gone. I wonder if anyone has ever recovered any of the old newsreels from TV news ? I am curretnly a commercial real estate broker in Marin county california north of san francisco.
