hi friends.
i am from the Starczynski clan. I originate from Logan Sqare (lawndale/diversey). Born at Norwegian/american hospital. 1960.
Earlier and other family members are from further east and south. Our name began in chicago in the late 1800's coming from Poland. My parents and grand parents knew people who were lost in the OLA fire. i grew up hearing about this. i lived next to St. Hyacinths catholic church and school.
My fathers father helped build the church as well as many homes in this area. He was a prominant carpenter and businessman.
He owned Starczynski "Polski-buffet" at 3735 w. Diversey. he also build that 6 flat building.

Proball, Majewski, starczynski, Rzeppa. all from logan square to humbolt park and all the way east to the lake.
