I was only in kindergaten when the fire occured. I think I may have read about it at an early age from an old magazine. Our neighbor often sent magazine over to my Mom, and we kept them forever. That is the only way I could have been old enough to read about it, but being in a Catholic School that looked very much like OLA, I was terrified of a similar fire breaking out.Many years later I still remember the stomach wrenching pictures, and decided to google articles to more or less place facts in my mind. I have just finished reading Sleeping with Angels, and am one of many people not personally affected but who will never forget what everyone there went through. Bless all of you. J
