In December1, 1958 I was an infant living in Chicago with my family. My Mom grew up there. We eventually moved to New Jersey. My Mom told me about the terrible OLA fire and all the children and nuns who died. Later on in life I became very interested in the tragedy and have ready many books and articles and have the DVD "Angels too Soon." I became a special needs teacher and later a Franciscan Sister so the event has become very dear to my heart. I pray for those deceased souls and reread the books as the yearly anniversary approaches. So happy Franciscan Sisters are now in the former BVM convent!
