My mom Lorraine LaBati is a survivor from room 207 ( the cheese box)
She passed away Jan 18, 2020.
Never talked much about what happened to her that day, however I believe it affected her life in more ways that she realized.
She started the year in room 212 and after being hospitalized with pneumonia for 3 weeks she arrived at school to find that she had been moved to a different room. Room 207. The only room with no fatality. She lost many friends from her original assigned room.
If not for that twist of fate, she probably wouldn’t have been here.
If anyone knew her or remembers anything about her, I’d be happy to find out more.
She was 10 years old and in Sister Geralditas room.
