I and my younger three brothers were at OLA until September of 1958. We then moved out to the SW side. (Our farther also attended in the 30’s) I would have been in 7th grade, brother Marty in 6th, Rich 4th, Larry 1st(?). My parents did not let any of us attend the funerals although they went. A number of friends and acquaintance did die or were injured I believe. It was years later that a marriage counselor suggested that I was struggling with “survivors guilt”. Not sure I agreed with him but have never forgotten that comment. For some reason as I get older I am drawn back to OLA history and current mission.
