I am a teacher of history and English at the high school and junior college level (in upstate NY) and have been for 26 years. My stepson is a professional fire fighter and paramedic in the DC area. My love of history and what I have learned from my son as regards his work have combined to bring me to this site. I gave him a copy of To Sleep With The Angels but only after I had read it several times. This site is not only a reflection of high quality research, it is a loving tribute to thise innocents who lost their lives and to the courageous survivors of that terrible day in 1958. I remember the fire. I was a kindergarten student in a Catholic school in NYS and I remember our nun asking us to pray for the lost children and nuns. I still do.
