About me: In the 70's and early 80's I attended a Catholic grade school in Davenport, Iowa run by the Sisters of the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM). One day in eighth grade, after a few of us goofed off during a fire drill, our nun (who may have known some of those involved in the fire) "educated" us on the events of December 1, 1958. The angry wrath of the small, white-haired nun wasn’t soon forgotten. When the PBS documentary aired, the memory of our poor behavior during that fire drill came back to me and I became very interested in the story. I bought the book "To Sleep with Angels" and just finished it last week, just before the Rhoad Island nightclub fire.
