| About me: | I lived up on Walton St.at the time of the fire. We lived in St. Angela's parish. My brothers played football with the Petruzzi boys.Our families knew each other from way back....... I knew Charlie, who I understand is a member of the Chicago Fire Dept. today.My grandpa, dad, and uncles were all CFD. One of my uncles is (retired) Chief Joseph Murray.My mom was an RN at St. Anne's and cared for some of the children at the time of the fire. |
