About me: Raised on the far north side of Chicago. Attended Saint Henry Catholic school and Saint George High School in Evanston, IL. Attended Quincy College (Franciscan) in Quincy, IL for two years and graduated from Lewis College (Christian Brothers) Taught for two years at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic School in Arlington Heights, IL. My children attended Saint James Catholic School and Saint Viator High School in Arlington Heights. My son graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee as did my daughter-in-law. Two grandaughters named Caroline and Olivia and a grandson named John (Jack). My siblings (two brothers and a sister attended Catholic schools as well; Saint George H.S., Saint Scholastica H.S. and Gordon Tech Catholic H.S.). Pretty much Catholic! I very much remember hearing the horror of the OLA fire that afternoon around 3:30 from a classmate. Chicago Catholics were never the same after 12/01/58. God bless all of you.
