I was born on 11-11-58, grew up in the Garfield Ridge area on the southwest side of the city, and graduated from Our Lady of the Snows grade school on 4800 S Leamington in 1972. I distinctly remember from Grade 1 in the mid 60s that on each anniversary of your most horrific tragedy, our nuns always leading us in prayer for those lost, those injured and the families that were left behind from the catastrophic event at OLA. I am 45 years old now and have lived in St. Louis for 20 years, but that memory has always remained with me. I recently found this website by pure chance and mystery and read To Sleep with the Angels not long after that. I just wanted you all to know that you, the families and the memories of the stories our nuns told us on each anniversary has remained with me all these years. God Bless all always.
