I grew up in the neigborhood and lived on Ridgeway and Huron. I attended Ryerson Grade School, but made my Communion, Conformation, attended Keiro(sp) Classes on Tuesday nights and went to Teen Club at OLA. Father Joe, Father Mac and father Charlie Hun called me by my first and knew my immediate family; aunts, uncles and cousins, too. I was fifteen at the time of the fire and just one of the faces in the crowd who witnessed the happenings. I was amember of the Royal Airs Drum and Bugle Corps and know many of the survivors and knew some of the victims.
