| About me: | I lived in Mt. Prospect from 1960-68. Our school was shown a very graphic 16mm film documentary of the fire when I was in second grade in 1962. I will never forget the fear I felt in watching it--I certainly could not imagine experiencing that horror. I suppose this is why the story still haunts me and anyone who lived in the Chicago area in those days.
