About me: I was born 8 days after this terrible tragedy. I have over heard many times my parents talking about the fire and my 2 cousins that died in the fire. However, every time I have asked for more details I’ve been told to forget about it, or that it’s better I don’t know and so on. Well after 46 years I want to know more. Even though I have never even been told there names they where family. This is all the information I have. They where cousins on my fathers side so that also mean they where from Italian decent. I believe they where 10-12 yrs. old and I think but am not sure they where both girls. I don’t even know there last names since my father was the only boy in the family and I don’t recall his sisters married names. It really upsets me that such a monumental tragedy can happen in your own family and no one is willing to talk about it. I’m so glad all of you gave me a little more insight into what happened that awful day. Thank you for sharing these very painful memories and helping me understand the events on that tragic day. Sincerely, Donna Fiorelli
