The fire at OLA has never left my thoughts. Today I live in a lovely mobile home in California but I am still very fire conscious. My bedroom windows are small and if, God forbid, there was a fire, I would be trapped in here. So, as you can see, I am still aware and scared of fire. I'm the one who investigates all strange smells and checks the plugs. I don't think this fear of fire will ever leave me. And I think of the OLA children who died and I always say a prayer for them, the Sisters who died, and those who survived. Sweet Jesus protect us all.
