About me: |
Some students called Miss Herlihy (Miss Shirley). I was in her class at that time. I was in third grade. It shows 2nd grade. Had a hard time opening that door that lead us out to Avers Ave. I seen the firemen from Engine Co.85. I seen Ralph Clark. He wanted me to hop on the fire engine. Miss Herlihy said NO. Engine Co.85 were good to me all the time and I will always remember them in my heart and the black man who was a porter at the rrestaurant on the corner of Hamiln and Chicago Ave. He put his white jacket on me. Miss Herlihy was a third grade class I just found out. I was not injuried at the time. I believe it was a carol who was in my class had a brother that jump from the roof. I currently work with American Airlines here in Chicago and also work as abroadcast and newspaper journalist. I currently live here in Chicago.
